Dr. Nelson earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the Minnesota School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University. She has worked with children, adolescents, and adults in various settings, including outpatient therapy, partial hospitalization, residential treatment, and a specialty hospital and rehabilitation center. Her expertise covers anxiety, depression, obsessions and compulsions, stress, attention and executive functioning, adoption, attachment, social skills, Autism, trauma, grief, and behavioral issues. She utilizes diverse interventions such as CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and parent coaching.
