Katherine Carlson is Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with fifteen years of experience providing mental health care services to children and families. Katherine graduated with her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the College of St. Catherine and University of St. Thomas in 2007. Katherine has worked in outpatient settings, school based, home based, and day treatment.
Katherine has specialized training including Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and in adoption competency completing training through the National Adoption Competency Mental Health Training Initiative (NTI). Katherine specializes in working with school age youth and their families in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and social difficulties. Katherine is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
