Justin is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, with certifications as a Family Trauma and Addictions-Informed Mental Health Professional. Justin currently provides therapy, consultation, parenting assessments, as well as parent education trainings. Recently, Justin began his doctoral program with the hopes of becoming a licensed psychologist, as well creating a mental health hub in the Greater Saint Peter area. This idea and passion came to light after seeing families struggle to obtain services for their children and themselves – often times, having to travel hours to meet with a provider. Justin knew he wanted to provide a different type of mental health experience, so he created the Greater Minnesota Trauma Center. Justin takes a holistic hands-on approach to therapy, and finds great value in the Polyvagal and Internal Family Systems theories. Justin believes therapy needs to go beyond talk-therapy, but is also able to meet clients where they are in the moment.
