I work with school-aged children and adolescents. My areas of specialty include adoption and foster care, children with trauma and emotional dysregulation, anxiety, depression and ADHD. I enjoy involving parents in knowing how to best help their children with their current struggles. I work to empower children, adolescents and families through hands-on activities, humor, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship. I hope to dig deeper to uncover underlying issues and bring about meaningful change. I am a play therapist and incorporate play and creativity into my work. I hope to help parents better connect with their child’s behaviors so they can both make real change within their central nervous systems.
I am trained in Theraplay, certified in EMDR, trained in Sandtray therapy and am a Registered Play Therapist.
