Creating a NEW Narrative

What do teens bring to the table? What assets do they have since they have no money? First, teens need to be seen beyond their needs while in foster care. They need to be viewed as experts in their own right from an asset-based perspective. This session is designed to expose participants to the concept of ‘asset-framing’. Michael facilitates a guided discussion on how to develop a strength-based mindset around teens.

Michael Sanders is an optimist who believes that every teen has potential. He has been referred to as an Edutainer…successfully blending education and entertainment for maximum learning and fun. He has spent 30 years working with teens and their families and brings his enthusiasm for these groups in a humorous and exciting presentation.
