Every professional in the field is feeling the pressure of an increasing caseload that includes some form of anxiety. Anxiety presents in multiple shades and it is not always easy to assess the source of each presentation. During this workshop we will consider the different types, but also support professionals to identify performance anxiety due to developmental delay that would need to be addressed alongside counseling in order to be fully effective in intervention.

Maude Le Roux, OTR/L, is an international trainer in a variety of different courses. She is SIPT certified and specializes in Sensory Integration services as it applies to functional activities of daily living, including improving the ability of children/students of all ages to partake in his/her learning environment. Sensory Integration is the base for all her work in children and adults. She designs her own live courses with regards to occupational functioning of students across different ages and stages of development in a variety of categories. Maude works with a team of occupational therapists and speech language pathologists in her practice. She serves on the board for ATTACh where her portfolio includes providing training opportunities for occupational therapists with regards to attachment and trauma informed care. Maude is a mentor to many therapists, including OT and DIR professionals internationally. She opened The Maude Le Roux Academy online in January 2019, and has presented at conferences in a variety of settings across the US as well as internationally. She has co-authored the book, The Listening Journey, with Francoise Nicoloff, and her second book, Our Greatest Allies, is available on Amazon.com.
