The foster care, adoption and support services of Children’s Home are available throughout Minnesota. We’ve been creating and supporting families for over 150 years. We are driven by the belief in the fundamental human rights of children to have security, opportunity and a loving family. Our approach is child-centered, our professional staff is knowledgeable, caring and trust-worthy. We offer support before , during and after placement.

Visit chlss.org to learn more about adoption, foster care and emergency shelter care. Prior to attending the required Pre-Adoption Education Classes, we encourage you to register for an Agency-Specific Orientation Session to learn more about the process, timelines, and children we serve.

We look forward to connecting with you and helping you navigate the foster care and/or adoption process. In addition to these services, we do offer Infant, International, Post Adoption and Pregnancy Services.
