Going back to school is an exciting time filled with new opportunities, but for children in foster care, it can also bring uncertainty about having the clothes, shoes, and supplies they need to feel prepared and confident. Thanks to the generosity of our donors and community sponsors, 200 children and youth in foster care were able to experience the excitement of back-to-school shopping this year.

Each child received a $200 Visa gift card to purchase clothing, shoes, and tech items that helped them start the school year feeling comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.

We’ve loved hearing stories from families and social workers about the joy these shopping trips brought. From picking out a favorite pair of shoes to finding the perfect backpack or tech accessory, these experiences helped children feel supported and ready for the year ahead.
