I am an adoptee raised in an open adoption with a transracial family. My personal journey has fueled my professional goal to provide unconditional support for families and students.   My passions include working with the undeserved population, transracial families, adolescents and adoption related issues. I enjoy work related to cultural and race identity, systemic family work, processing family of origin work, attachment, creating new family narratives, etc.

I approach therapy from a collaborative and strength-based approach by focusing on empowering individuals and/or families to successfully complete identified goals, find inner healing, and provide tools to enhance their daily life/functioning. I have 10 years of experience ranging from Residential programs, Day Treatment programs, in-home therapy and in-home skills, working with families, children and adolescents.  I integrate approaches from CBT, solution focused, narrative therapy and person-centered theories while incorporating holistic and mindfulness-based modalities.
