Tarah Groettum holds a Master of Science in Education (MSEd) with a clinical counseling focus. As a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Certified Autism Specialist (CAS), Permanency and Adoption Competency Certified (PACC), and Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Tarah brings a wealth of specialized training to her practice. She is also fully trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Tarah brings a unique blend of personal and professional expertise to her practice, Bears Counseling PLLC, specializing in autism and Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD).
As both a clinician and a kinship parent, Tarah has firsthand experience navigating the complexities of foster care and legal custody. Her deep understanding of these challenges is informed not only by her professional training but also by her journey as a parent to children with autism and FASD. This dual perspective allows Tarah to offer compassionate, informed, and effective support to individuals and families facing similar circumstances.
