Jennifer (Jen) Doeden, MA, LMFT graduated from Argosy University in 2008, with a Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.  Jen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Minnesota Board Approved Marriage and Family Therapy Supervisor.  Jen is trained in providing DC 0-3R (diagnostic assessments for children ages 0-5).  She is currently in the process completing a certificate in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

Jen has a passion for working with young children and their families. Jen provides: outpatient play therapy services to children  (through modes of Experiential Play, Sand Tray, and Directive Play to help children work through issues of attachment, trauma, divorce, adoption, anxiety, and behavioral problems); Family Therapy (working on issues with divorce, separation, parenting, and helping families build and maintain healthy attachment and relationships); and outpatient therapy with teens struggling with issues of depression, anxiety, self-esteem, adoption, and trauma.

Jen has previous experience providing: In-home Family Based Services; Mobile Mental Health Crisis Services; Day Treatment Programming for children and teens; Group home for adult males with traumatic brain injuries; and PCA services for children with Autism.
