Nicolette is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in North Dakota and Minnesota, and a Licensed Addiction Counselor in both states as well (LAC/LADC). She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Colorado – Colorado Springs, with an emphasis on trauma. Nicolette is passionate about partnering with individuals where they are at to help them reach their goals. She holds the perspective that the client is always the expert in determining their goals and values. As a therapist she will create a safe space and strong relationship to support the client in their pursuit of growth, recovery, and wellness.

Nicolette has experience working with adolescents and adults. She embraces people of all backgrounds and strives to enhance therapy by remaining culturally competent and sensitive. She can address a variety of concerns to include trauma and stress, substance use, mood disorders, thought disorders, anxiety, and other mental/emotional concerns. She has experience working with individuals to address a variety of family concerns to include adoption, foster or kinship care. She is trained in EMDR, TFCBT, MI, EFT, group therapy approaches, and utilizes harm reduction. Her therapy approach is non-judgmental, warm, and individualized to each client. She enjoys incorporating humor and creative approaches in her sessions.
