Everyone needs a place to think aloud and reflect on their story. Megan supports clients as they step into new spaces with curiosity and compassion. She loves helping clients challenge the status quo and identify steps they need for healing and growth. Megan loves working with transracial, transnational adopted individuals (age 17+) who grew up questioning their racial and ethnic identities and wondered, “does anyone else feel this way?” She completed the University of Minnesota’s Center for Advanced Studies in Child Welfare’s PACC program and continues to stay involved in the greater adoptee community to offer resources to clients at all stages of their adoption identity
formation.
Megan draws from a variety of modalities, chief among them being relational (and relatable). She takes a developmental and holistic approach to healing, including awareness of developmental milestones on our lives and the lingering impact on our relationships and connections to self and others.
She enjoys supporting individuals in the Asian diaspora; women juggling the demands of life, work, and relationships; teens and college-age (and beyond!) individuals figuring out their next move; and individuals carrying the weight of perfectionism.
Megan is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and received her Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychological Services from Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota.
