As a marriage and family therapist I utilize an integrated approach that melds trauma-informed, emotionally focused, and attachment-based techniques. I provide warmth and empathy with focus on how your personal strengths, feelings, relationships, and adaptive coping skills work together to promote wellbeing. As a person, I’ve found that education, support, space to be human, humor, love, and connection are instrumental to healing both for myself and for my clients.

My areas of focus and special interests include helping parents experiencing depression and anxiety during pregnancy and postpartum, birth trauma, and infertility; working with couples; supporting families with children from birth to age six; and helping survivors of trauma. I have experience and specialized training in perinatal mood and anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International, fertility counseling through the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, in addition to evidence-based approaches such as Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), Circle of Security-Parenting (CoS-P), Mothers and Babies, Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
